never did i think i would see a cover band that surpasses the band that it is covering... but last night... the dave mattress cover band did just that. WOW!! the intensity... the power... man.. i don't know how to discribe.. i couldn't help but rock out. normally i'm a bit scared about seeing coverbands.... cause.. its weird to rock out to.. an "imitator" but i just couldn't help it... these 5 men had soul.. they delivered every dave hit with such strength.. i couldn't take my eyes off them... and the only time i could pry myself from the stage was to go get some water.. cause damn i needed to cool down after all that ROCK N ROLL!! man... i really don't know how to describe.. the band would jam on the songs... forever... but if you ask me.. it wasn't LONG ENOUGH!! i could listen to these guys forever!! wow.. and that violinest had a jimmy dean sausage i can't even start to describe, just ask pam! dave mattress band, LOOK OUT! cause you got competition... seriously folks... this show... is so great.. that i'd highly recommend you DON'T GO.. so there will be more space for me to rock out, and just bask in the glory and splender that is the power fab 5, THE DAVE MATTRESS COVER BAND!!! wow.. that sent a bit of a shiver down my spine... i can see the "fake dave's" face now..... *shudders* um (in joy?) man did that guy move!! (?)
